Within security boundaries, knowledge without action is practically pointless.
Knowledge is the essential thing, but it is not enough by its own. Unfortunately, moving towards "being more secured" means doing something. None of the thoughts or recommendations would make you more secured by just knowing it and doing nothing.
Most likely, you would need to change your habits and act differently.
Luckily, overall technology moves to a more secured state with the intent to implement more transparent security solutions with better users protection when a person natively changes its behaviour.
